Orange colour, with 3 white bands, yellow tail and a variable amount of black, only on the back or extended to cover completely the orange part. Different colour variations are found in different geographical areas. In our area 2 colour variations exist, whose colour is determined by the symbiont anemone: specimens associated with Stichodactyla mertensii or with Heteractis aurora are completely black with the exceptions of the white bands, the snout (pale pink) and the tail. 14 cm.
