Diva Maldves

Dhidhoofinolhu is one of the largest islands in the Maldives, 1.8 km long and 200 m across. It is a real haven of tranquility, with lush tropical vegetation running alongside 4 km of white sandy beaches. The island is surrounded by a magnificent, sheltered lagoon, rich in marine life, with the wonderful spectacle of rays and colourful tropical fish swimming around.
In the heart of this beautiful setting, Naïade has added a new jewel in its crown, Diva Maldives. It is a masterpiece, combining the natural beauty of the Maldives and a tropical outdoor style of life, close to nature, with refined luxury and elegance.

Junior suites
Surrounded by lush, tropical plants, theJunior suites look out to sea and have access to the beach on both sides, as they are on the narrowest point of the island. Each Junior suite has a bedroom, a bathroom, a terrace with an outside shower. Bathrooms have a bath and separate shower, as well as separated toilet. 18 inter connecting Junior Suites making a total of 36 suites (18 rooms with 2 twin beds and 18 rooms w double beds)

Beach pool villas
They all have direct beach access and an uninterrupted view of the lagoon. Each villa has a large bedroom and a bathroom that opens onto the garden, where there is an outdoor shower and a private pool. The bathrooms are fitted with a bath, separate shower and toilet. The sitting room extends onto an individual terrace, creating a large living space. The villas also have a delightful garden area on one side, with chaises longues on the wooden deck area that runs round the private pool, ideal for relaxing, whilst the sea stretches into infinity on the other.

Beach villas
There are 45 Beach Villas, with the same facilities than the Pool villas, except for the pool. Instead, these villas have larger gardens and a small area of private beach. They are located on both sides of the island, so that guests can enjoy the sublime spectacle of sunrise or sunset.

Water villas
Inspired by the colours of the lagoon, interior décor is in turquoise and shades of ochre and sand. Wherever you are in any of the villas, the view is breathtaking. There are picture windows in the bedroom and the bathroom, creating the impression of being in the lagoon itself. In the evening, attracted by the lights, it is as if the fish are in the room with you. The bathroom in each of the villas has a bath, separate shower and separated toilet. These villas also have a furnished terrace looking out over the sea, with direct lagoon access from a small flight of steps.

Restaurants and Bars
Gastronomic dining at Diva Maldives features three styles of cuisine. There is the Oriental style, taking its inspiration from Lebanese, North African, Indian and Indian Ocean island cuisines. The second style is “Italian” whereas the third style is “Asian”, featuring Cambodian, Thai, Malaysian, and other dishes. Throughout the resort, guests discover the island and the country they are in, while enjoying cuisine from all around the world. The resorts flagship is its gastronomic Japanese restaurant.

All our outlets have a casual dress code and we maintain a smart casual dress code after 6.30 p.m (Shorts and jeans are not acceptable in the restaurant at dinner time) the gentlemen are required to wear long trousers in the evening. No Beach wears after 6 p.m)

SENSES Oriental Restaurant & Lounge Bar
European savours with a touch of oriental spices waft through the air, inspired by North-African, Lebanese, Indian and Indian Ocean cuisines. Thereafter, it is open to all guests, serving salads, grills and seafood at lunchtime, with an a la carte The restaurant leads on to a terrace and an infinity pool, stretching as far as the sea. A lounge bar features a selection of cocktails, rums, liqueurs, beers and international brands of spirits, as well as a selection of famous teas.

NOO Restaurant (Main Restaurant - South side)
Noo is a spectacular, shell-shaped restaurant, featuring international cuisine. The restaurant is by Diva Maldives’s central beach, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, with themed evenings.

IRU Bar (as from autumn 2008)
The brightly coloured circular bar, Iru, the local word for Sun, is also by the beach, facing the sea. Indeed, the terrace goes out to sea and is filled with sunset colour, for an unforgettable aperitif with a selection of finger snacks at the end of the afternoon, open during day and night.

VELI Pool Bar
Veli means Sand in Dhiveli.
The bar adjoins the circular swimming pool that extends out to sea, looking out onto the crystal-clear lagoon on three sides. The atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. Light Mediterranean-style snacks, such as Spanish tapas, mezze and antipasti are served in Véli throughout the day. Open during the day only (10 a.m - 6 p.m).

PURE Japanese Fusion Restaurant – Fine Dining Restaurant (as from Autumn 2008)
Standing on stilts over the water, Pure features Japanese-style open cooking. It has a Tepaniaki table, where the Chef performs a “live” show, displaying all his skills as he prepares their dishes in front of the guests. The restaurant is open evenings only and tables should be reserved in advance.

EAST Asian Restaurant & Bar – Main restaurant – North Side (as from Autumn 2008)
This is the resorts main restaurant, standing on stilts over the water, with a wonderful view out over the lagoon. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring, amongst others, Cambodian, Indonesian, Thai, Sri Lankan, Hong Kong and Chinese-style buffets.

SEASON Beach Restaurant & Bar (as from Autumn 2008)
The beach Bar & Restaurant is located next to the boathouse and opens only at midday. The menu is simple with beach barbecues, seafood brochettes, grills, salads and sandwiches.

ALLEGRIA Italian Restaurant & Bar (as from Autumn 2008)
Welcome to Diva Maldives’s Italian restaurant for genuine and traditional Italian cuisine. The concept is again openkitchen, with large glass windows through which you can see the kitchen staff at work. Allegria features Italian specialities during dinnerExclusive arrangements can also be made for small parties to dine in the setting of the wine cellar, in the heart of the restaurant, with a special menu. During the day, it is the chance to indulge in wine and cheese tasting and to learn more about wines and preparing Italian dishes.

SWIMMING POOLS
2 pools both located on the sunset side of the island

DIVING
Diva boathouse is the gateway to the most beautiful dive sites in The Maldives, where parrotfish, rays, clownfish, stonefish and whale sharks abound. Didhoofinolhu provides a great opportunity to explore the coral reef and see a number of species, most of which are specific to the region, at close hand.
Two dive sessions are organised every day, with 1 monitor for every 4 divers. All monitors are fully trained in safety techniques and are PADI-qualified instructors. There are also beginners diving courses, for which NITROX gas bottles are used.

WATERSPORTS
Snorkelling, windsurfing, rubber-ring rides, water-skiing, jet skiing, pedal boats and kayaks are all available, as well as catamaran trips.
Catamaran sailing and windsurfing lessons are also given by trained staffs, who hold internationally recognised German VDWS certificates.
For safety reasons and to avoid any noise pollution, motorised activities take place well out into the lagoon.

LAND-BASED ACTIVITIES
Diva land-based activities include table tennis and 2 floodlit tennis courts. Other leisure facilities include a gym, billiards, table football and video games machines.

Infinity Spa
Diva Maldives is a haven of peace and well-being and the Spa itself has been given special attention, with massages that are truly out of this world! Nestling amongst lush, green vegetation, this centre of well-being has 3 sections, one for men, one for women and one for both. The Spa features 3 saunas, 3 hammams, 2 ice rooms, 2 heated pools, 1 cold pool, 1 hot tub, 3 outdoor showers and 3 relaxation gardens.
The common area includes a boutique and a room for manicure and pedicure treatments (as from 1st July)

For children aged from 3 to 12 years old, opened from 10 a.m to 10 p.m
A whole range of activities is organised for them, adapted to particular age groups, to make sure that they also experience an unforgettable holiday.
Children can have lunch at the kids club between noon and 1 pm and dinner between 6.30 p.m to 7.30 p.m Children below 3 years old must be accompanied by a parent or a baby sitter. A baby-sitting service, for which a fee is charged, is also available.
